Penrith Disabilities Resource Centre Inc (PDRC) is funded by the Department of Ageing, Disability and Home Care (DADHC), to resource and support people with disabilities who live, work in, and/or utilise services based in the Penrith Local Government Area and/or surrounding areas. The service caters for the needs of people with all types of disabilities. 
PDRC has three main functions:

To provide a regional Advocacy, Information and Referral Service for people with all types of disabilities, their families, carers, advocates and other service
providers. 

To work together with local residents, with all types of disabilities, to raise issues and concerns that affect them directly. 

Most of PDRCs' information is kept on an electronic database. There is also a range of pamphlets, magazines and other disability specific literature available to the community. All inquiries are answered by trained Information Officers who either have a disability or are the parent or carer of a person with a disability.

PDRCs' office is accessible for people with all types of disabilities.
