TAD is a not-for-profit organization and an NDIS provider. We work with skilled engineers who volunteer their time to create customized assistive technology.
TAD’s Freedom Wheels bikes enable people with a disability to ride a bike for the first time. This is a tailored made bike to suit the individual’s height, weight and cognitive or physical disability.
I’m excited to inform you that our Occupational Therapist will be visiting Penrith on the 10th December 2020 for free custom bike assessments. She will be holding free, no-obligation assessments for anyone who would like to try out riding, for whom the standard commercial bikes are not suitable.
Please find information flyers attached.

Do you have any clients who would like to ride a bike? If so, please fill out the attached Freedom Wheels Form and have it returned to me as soon as you can so we can assist in proceeding with the assessment booking arrangements through our Project Coordinator, Mary.
Would you please help us circulate this information amongst service providers and families? Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
Also, we understand the circumstances surrounding the coronavirus situation. We will be taking the necessary cleaning precautions for staff and clients between assessments.
If you have any questions or would like further information, please let me know.
Kind regards
